Buddy Hield is one the best shooters in the NBA. Currently he is 14th in the league at three-point percentage with 42.7%.
Tyrese Haliburton’s dad visited the Pacers and told Hield directly what he expects from him – less dribbling and more shooting.
“I’ve been telling everybody about this. Tell Buddy this for me,” John Haliburton said as he walked towards Hield. “Tell him, Tyrese’s dad said and tell him to see me if anything come wrong. Shoot the ball, stop dribbling. I don’t need for you to dribble, just shoot the ball. Please?”
“I got you,” the 30-year-old guard replied while smiling. “Thank you!” Haliburton responded. “Just shoot the stupid ball, you the man.”
This season Hield is averaging 17.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 31.7 minutes per game.
