Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was super impressed with the play of rookie Patrick Baldwin Jr. vs. the Utah Jazz on Wednesday (11 points/3 rebounds/1 steal/4-7 FG/3-5 3-PT in a 112-107 home win).

(via Let’s Go Warriors):

“I thought Patrick changed the game when he stepped out there and knocked down those threes, especially the one he hit late 3rd or early 4th [quarter], just kinda popped out, pick and pop jumper. It felt like a game changer right there. I think it was early 4th. He was in Santa Cruz today. He practiced in Santa Cruz, and when Donte [DiVincenzo] and Draymond [Green] were both questionable for the game, we called down there and got Ryan [Rollins] and PBJ back up here. I think they arrived about an hour before the game. So it’s pretty impressive for them to be going back and forth, and for Patrick to come in and play the way he did. It’s exciting. He’s got a lot of skill and he’s not afraid.”
