Gregg Popovich on Alamodome game: “It’s like a once-in-a-lifetime sort of event for the fans at San Antonio”

San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich is super excited for fans to get back in the Alamodome on January 13th vs. the Golden State Warriors.

(via Locked On Spurs):

“They’ve been there for 50 years. The Alamodome has a special place in their heart for that period of time when we were in there. It’s pretty unique. There’s gonna be a lot of people in there for that game. You don’t do that very often, if at all. It’s like a once-in-a-lifetime sort of event for the fans at San Antonio. They’ve really warmed up to the idea. So I think it’s pretty cool.”
