Jayson Tatum: “Celtics need to learn how to win again”

The Boston Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum was interviewed following the team’s 117-112 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night. The Celtics were buried early by the Pacers, and trailed by as many as 30 points in the game; after cutting the lead, Boston couldn’t complete the comeback.

Jayson Tatum led Boston with 41 points (5 rebounds, 4 assists) after missing a game because of personal reasons, while point guard Marcus Smart sat out with a non-COVID illness. On the other hand, Tyrese Haliburton scored 33 points for the Pacers.

On the Celtics’ cold streak, Tatum said, “We gotta learn how to win again. It’s not as simple as that, but we have to get back to having fun. We’re playing a little timid, a little tight. Basketball’s supposed to be fun.”
