Gordon Hayward has agreed on a footwear extension with Anta, per Nick DePaula of ESPN. The Charlotte Hornets swingman will be tied with the Chinese brand on a five-year deal.
Per DePaula, Anta will continue Hayward’s signature shoe series, wherein his new shoe line GH4 is set to be released in the Spring of next year.
Hayward has been sporting the Anta brand since 2018. He formerly represented Nike in the early years of his career.
Hayward recently made a return to the Charlotte lineup this Friday after his left shoulder fracture recovery. He played 29 minutes and registered nine points, five dimes, and three boards on the 125-106 losing effort against the Atlanta Hawks.
