Former Bulls star Derrick Rose visited Chicago as the Knicks faced his former team. The 34-year-old point guard spent his first seven years in the NBA there.

He always gets a warm welcome from the local fans and this time was no exception. Rose appreciates the love he gets from the fans in Chicago and says he wish he would have cherished more when he played there.

“It’s a total blessing,” the former NBA MVP said, per K.C. Johnson. “Coming back, just seeing it, makes you kind of reminisce about the older days when I was playing here. In hindsight, you always wish you had cherished things a little bit more. That’s the feeling. But it’s great.”

The Bulls fans did not get to see Rose play as head coach Tom Thibodeau kept him on the bench for the entire game. New York won in overtime 128-120.
