Weed-smuggler WNBA player Brittney Griner’s agent, Lindsay Kagawa Colas, told ESPN that the 32-year-old, who returned to the US last week after being swapped for a terrorist, had her first workout with a basketball in almost 10 months on Sunday.
“If she wants to play, it will be for her to share. She has the holidays to rest and decide what’s next without any pressure,” Colas said. “She’s doing really, really well. She seems to have endured this in pretty incredible ways.”
She added that Griner will likely issue a public statement “this week.”
