Austin Reaves made a big play for the Lakers as he banked a clutch three with 12 seconds left in the fourth quarter against the Pistons.

The 24-year-old shooting guard finished the game with 9 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in 29 minutes of play coming off the bench.

Lakers head coach Darvin Ham said that plays like that only further increases his confidence in Reaves.

“He’s not afraid of the moment. He’s going to make plays. He’s a smart basketball player, scrappy, he’s going to lay it all on the line and those type of guys you need finishing games,” Ham said.

Reaves is averaging 10.9 points, 3 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 29.1 minutes per game in his second season in the NBA.
