After letting up 18 threes on Friday vs. the Indiana Pacers, the Washington Wizards failed to guard the three-point line yet again, this time giving up 19 last night vs. the Los Angeles Clippers.

Here’s Wizards head coach Wes Unseld Jr. discussing his team’s inability to guard from outside.

(via Washington Wizards):

“I think we’re just a little hesitant to close and touch. We’re there, but we’re not. I think some of that’s a little concern about inability to guard one-on-one. So you cushion guys, but we gotta get out of our comfort zone and get there. Guys are just shooting, you’re there, but you’re not putting them under any duress. So they’re just lining it up and shooting it.”
