Last year the Celtics went all the way to the Finals where they lost in six games against the Warriors. Despite having a good season overall, Boston did not start the year that way.
Twenty six games into the season, the Celtics were 13-13. After the sae amount of games this season the team is 21-5 which is the best record in the NBA.
According to Jayson Tatum, the players have a different mentality this season and it shows in results.
“It’s night and day,” Tatum said last month, per Tim Bontemps of ESPN. “The way we are playing at the start of this season compared to the start of last season. I just feel like we haven’t looked back.”
