It is basically a consensus that Victor Wembanyama will be the number one pick of the 2023 NBA Draft. The expectation is that many NBA teams will tank this season to have a chance at drafting the French prodigy.
Sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference with 8 wins and 18 losses, the Spurs are in a position to be lottery team. San Antonio has lost 16 of its last 17 games and is currently on a 11-game losing streak, by far the worst in the league at this point.
