Luka Doncic had 30 or more points for the 16th time this season as led the Mavericks past the Knicks. In addition, the Slovenian superstar grabbed 8 rebounds and dished out 7 assists in 29 minutes of play.

After the game Mavs’ head coach Jason Kidd was asked about how he and his team hope to keep Doncic fresh this season to make sure he is ready for the playoffs.

“We’ll just put him in a freezer. I think we bought one for the airplane. We’ll see if he can fit in it,” Kidd said, per Tim Bontemps.

This season Doncic is averaging 33.6 points, 8.7 rebounds and 8.7 assists in 37.6 minutes per game for Dallas.
