The Lakes are making a move to open a roster spot. According to NBA insider Shams Charania, Los Angeles is waiving Matt Ryan.
The 25-year-old forward was picked up by the Purple and Gold this past offseason after appearing in just one game for the Celtics during his rookie year.
Ryan appeared in 12 games for the Lakers this season, averaging 3.9 points and 1.2 rebounds in 10.8 minutes per game.
