Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton is nearing his much-anticipated return, as he is eyeing a potential season debut as soon as Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Middleton has missed the Bucks’ 19 games to start the season, taking his time to recover from the wrist surgery he took the last offseason.

The veteran wingman is in and out from the previous days on the Bucks’ G League affiliate Wisconsin Herd as part of his ramping process in preparation for his comeback for the club.

Middleton notably missed Milwaukee’s entire second-round series in the previous playoffs against the Boston Celtics, which hurt their chances to win the title back-to-back.

Throughout 66 games in the last 2021-22 campaign, the three-time All-Star registered 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.4 assists.
