Chris Paul has been out of action since early November due to a heel injury. The 37-year-old point guard is getting closer to a return, Suns’ general manager James Jones reveals.
“Chris, he’s close,” Jones said, per Duane Rankin of Arizona Republic. “He’s coming back. He’ll be back. I can’t tell you he’ll be back (Wednesday). He’s been looking good and we’re still taking the long view with him.”
This season Paul, a 12-time NBA All-Star, is averaging 9.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 9.4 assists in 30.2 minutes per game for Phoenix.
