Ben Simmons leaves game early due to knee soreness

The Nets lost Ben Simmons after the point guard played just 11 minutes in the game against the Magic. Brooklyn’s head coach Jacque Vaughn told the media that the former number one draft pick had to leave the game due to a left knee soreness, per Alex Schiffer.

According to Vaughn, Simmons’ knee issue is not related to the back that kept out of action since he was traded to the Nets last February.

This season Simmons is averaging 8.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 6 assists 29.1 minutes per game.
