The Milwaukee Bucks hosted the Dallas Mavericks over the weekend at Fiserv Forum. Unfortunately for the Mavericks they have dropped the last four out of five as the Bucks were able to beat them 124-115. As Giannis Antetokounmpo walked back to the locker room after a dropping 30 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and dishing out four dimes hit a rich flex on Mavericks following the victory.
During his post game interview Luka Doncic talked about playing against Giannis.
“It’s hard to go against a guy like that,” Doncic said, according to ESPN’s Jamal Collier. “He’s the best player in the NBA right now. He’s almost impossible to stop. It’s really fun to see him play, but it’s not that fun to go against him.”
“He improves every day. He works really hard, you can see it. He works on everything. He works on his shot, and he’s gotten better at a lot of things. He just gets better every day.”
Giannis Antetokoumpo also praised Doncic after the game as well.
“No matter wins or losses, just being respected by your peers, it’s always a good feeling,” Antetokounmpo said. “I always love playing against the best players in the league. He’s an incredible player, incredible talent, arguably one of the most talented players I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. It’s unbelievable what he can do for himself and his team.”
Next up for the Bucks are the New York Knicks on the road on Wednesday night. As for the Mavs they play host to the defending champions the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night.
