Four-time NBA All-Star Kemba Walker is close to signing a deal with the Mavericks, according to Marc Stein. The 32-year-old point guard has been without a team since getting waived by the Pistons in October.

The signing is expected to take place after Dallas waives Facundo Campazzo whom the team signed early in the season.

Last year Walker played for the Knicks. He averaged 11.6 points, 3 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 25.6 minutes over 37 games last season.

His career averages are 19.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 33.3 minutes per game.
