Brandon Ingram took a premature exit in the New Orleans Pelicans’ road game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday.
Ingram headed to the locker room in the injury. He was eventually announced unavailable to return, citing a left great toe sprain.
The injury occurred when Ingram accidentally hit his left toe on the foot of Dillon Brooks.
Ingram finished the game with eight points, three rebounds, and three assists in 18 minutes of play, as the Pels on to be trashed by the Grizzlies, 132-111.
