The Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis and Boston Celtics guard Malcolm Brogdon played for the Pacers from 2019-2022 when Indiana traded the big man before Brogdon missed the end of the season with an injury.
They made the playoffs in 2020 but struggled to return due to numerous ailments like TJ Warren, Myles Turner, TJ McConnel, and others.
The Pacers ultimately traded Brogdon to the Celtics after the season to begin their rebuild, but Brogdon said Sabonis will always be a great friend and a great player.
