Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups applauded Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star Darius Garland for his stellar play at point guard last night (24 points & 12 assists in a 114-96 Cavs home win).

“He just does a good job of reading coverages. He controlled the tempo of the game for them. He does a good job of mixing up when he shoots, and when he puts his head down and tries to go make a play. He does a good job of mixing that up. He plays at a really good pace that you can’t really speed him up, can’t really pressure him. His handle is pretty clever. I thought he did a good job controlling the game.”
