After being placed to the health and safety protocols last week, Superstar big man Nikola Jokic is expected to make a return to the Denver Nuggets this Tuesday against the Detroit Pistons, Mike Singer of the Denver Post relays.

Jokic has missed the Nuggets’ four previous games due to COVID-19, as the club went to split the stretch amid his absence, 2-2, following gutsy wins over the Dallas Mavericks and the Chicago Bulls.

The reigning two-time league MVP, Jokic is currently averaging 20.8 markers, 9.5 rebounds, a career-high 8.9 assists, and 1.5 steals in 60.6 percent shooting for 13 games.

Denver stands with a 10-6 record to fill the West’s third-best slate so far this campaign.
