Zalgiris’s search of a new player didn’t last too long. According lrytas.lt, Wayne Simien will join the club. 206cm 24-year-old played for Kansas in the NCAA. Miami Heat picked him as 29th pick in 2005 NBA Draft.
However, Simien failed to establish in the NBA. Because of his health problems he appeared only in 8 games last season. Chairman Gediminas Navikauskas denied rumours about Wayne Simien coming to Zalgiris.
