Anfernee Simons applauded coach Will Hardy’s “disciplined and hungry” group following the Portland Trail Blazers’ 118-113 home loss to the Utah Jazz on Saturday.

“They’re obviously a well coached team. They’ve been playing very well as well. So you knew that they were gonna come in disciplined and hungry to get the #1 seed. I think we didn’t match their intensity early on and we had to fight our way back once again. So just starting off the game better, more prepared, ready to go, ready to hit first, and be the more physical team in the beginning of the game.”
