Cleveland Cavaliers veteran Kevin Love is out on a day-to-day basis due to a hairline fracture to his right thumb, multiple sources have confirmed.
Per the team’s release, Love sustained the injury during the third period of their Friday win over the Charlotte Hornets. He finished the match with six points and seven rebounds in 24 minutes of play on their 132-122 2OT dub.
Love is averaging 11.3 points and 7.4 rebounds in 21.3 minutes per game this season mostly coming off the bench, as the Cavs went on to slash their five-game losing skid.
