LeBron James is in his 20th year in the NBA, but he has never been traded. Until now he was able to control his destiny, changing teams by signing with them as a free agent.
The idea of the Lakers trading the four-time NBA champion sounds hard to imagine. However, former Laker Lamar Odom thinks that it would make the Purple and Golden a contending team once again.
“If you did — probably going to put yourself right back into contention,” Odom said of trading James, per Peter Dewey of Lakers Daily. “You can get half a team. You’re going to get half a team.”
This season has been a tough one for the Lakers so far. With 3 wins and 11 losses they are second to bottom in the Western Conference.
