Charles Barkley: Ja Morant doesn’t make players around him better

Grizzlies young superstar Ja Morant keeps on improving every year. Last season he helped Memphis advance to the second round of the playoffs where his team was eliminated by the eventual champions the Warriors.

There is still one thing that the 23-year-old point guard has not added to his game, according to NBA legend Charles Barkley. It’s making players around him better.

“I don’t think he added that to his game yet,” Chuck said, per NBACentral on Twitter.

This season Morant is averaging career-high 28.8 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in 32.9 minutes per game for the Grizzlies. His team is currently 9-6 and leads the Southwest Division.
