Patrick Beverley credits LeBron James after win vs Nets

The Lakers snapped a five-game losing streak with a win over the Nets (116-103). Both teams had superstars miss this game – LeBron James was absent for Los Angeles and Kyrie Irving did not play for Brooklyn.

Despite not being on the court, James was a major reason why his team won, according to Patrick Beverley. “I think we had a phenomenal practice, probably one of my best practices yesterday,” the 33-year-old point guard said.

“I got to give a lot of credit to LeBron. He started to get on guys the right way and I guys in the locker room responded. Credit his leadership. There’s things that you don’t see in the locker room, but he was a big voice in practice yesterday.”
