Kiyan Anthony, the son of former NBA superstar and future Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony, announced via his Twitter account that he received a scholarship offer from Syracuse University.

“Beyond blessed to receive an offer from Syracuse University! #GOORANGE🍊🍊”

Carmelo traces his legendary roots to the Orange basketball program, wherein he played his freshman season there and led them to win the NCAA title in 2003, amassing the Most Outstanding Player honors of the tournament as a result.

According to 247Sports, Anthony ranks 62nd player overall and the No. 14 shooting guard in the class of 2025. He stands as a six-foot-five wing who is set to finish his studies at Christ the King High School in New York.

Based on his social media post alone, it appears that Kiyan would follow the trail of his father.

After playing the 2021-22 season for the Los Angeles Lakers, Anthony remains to wait for a playing offer as a free agent. As such, there were recent murmurs that he could take his act overseas to suit up in Taiwan.
