LeBron James out day-to-day due to adductor strain

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is out on a day-to-day basis with a strained left adductor, sources told Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times.

James was limping and holding his left groin late in the fourth period as he headed to the dugout of the Lakers’ eventual loss against the L.A. Clippers on Wednesday.

The injury was initially named left leg soreness, as James shrugged off the pain he endured in the postgame availability.

With that, James is doubtful to play against the Sacramento Kings on Friday. Los Angeles is also scheduled to collide on Sunday against the Brooklyn Nets.

As he joined the Lakers in 2018, James was plagued by several injuries that hurt the franchise’s chances to take the best steps. In the 2018-19 season, he injured his groin causing him to miss 17 games.

The future hall of fame is averaging 24.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 7.1 assists, in nine games this season. Amid maintaining splendid numbers, the Lakers are in deep water with a 2-8 card.
