Jayson Tatum says wrist doesn’t need surgery, Celtics are ‘managing’ it

The Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum (31 points and five assists) was interviewed following the team’s 128-112 win over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night. Tatum was asked about his wrist.

Tatum said they’re “managing” his left wrist and noted that doesn’t have to get surgery but said it’s been bothering him a bit. Tatum continued to build his MVP case after scoring 31 points and dishing out five assists.

The Celtics are now the winners of four straight games, as their record rises to 8-3 so far in the season. Boston will host the Denver Nuggets on Friday.
