Los Angeles Clippers superstar Kawhi Leonard is still taking his time to make a full recovery.

Leonard, who missed his seventh-straight game for the Clippers this season, is doing well on his individual work. But his return remains yet to be determined as told by coach Ty Lue.

“He’s feeling pretty good. He’s progressing in the right direction,” Lue said on Sunday ahead of their matchup with the Utah Jazz, via The Athletic’s Law Murray. “That’s the most important thing for us … There’s really not a timeframe on when he’s going to be back.”

The two-time Finals MVP felt discomfort in his knee last week which prompted the Clippers to be cautious of his condition. Leonard notably missed the entirety of the 2021-22 season as he recovered from the partial ACL tear he suffered back in last year’s postseason.

“He’s progressing well,” Lue continued. “We knew coming off an ACL, it wasn’t going to be a straight line … We’re just going to follow the lead of our medical staff. We’ve got to be smart about the situation, but he is progressing.”
