Toronto Raptors star forward Pascal Siakam took an untimely exit in his team’s Friday matchup against the Dallas Mavericks.

Siakam slipped during the third period of the bout, straining his right groin which shut him down for the remainder of the match.

Before taking leave, Siakam was cooking with 18 points, wherein 17 of it came from the first half. To go with his scoring output in 31 minutes of play, he had seven rebounds and six assists.

Siakam has been on a tear this season, averaging 25.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 7.9 assists per game. His impending absence will severely blow the Raps with Fred VanVleet still out also

The Mavs went on to win, 111-110, behind the usual lead of franchise cornerstone Luka Doncic.
