The Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves made a slick crosscourt pass to Matt Ryan and the newcomer, who went undrafted in 2020 and worked as a driver for DoorDash and UberEats for additional income, drilled a fallaway 3 in front of their bench to force OT against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night.
“I’m thrilled for him,” Lakers coach Darvin Ham said, via ESPN. “It worked. It was fabulously executed, and Matt had the courage to line it up and knock it down.”
