The Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant said he woke up from a nap at 1:15 pm this afternoon and saw the news about Steve Nash’s departure on ESPN:
“Shocked, you’re always shocked when a move like this happens. But it’s normal in the NBA.”
Steve Nash became the Nets’ head coach in 2020 and had two years left on a four-year contract. Both sides mutually agreed to part ways after a 2-5 start to the season.
