It is his 20th season in the NBA for Udonis Haslem, who is seeing limited playing time for the Heat. However, he is actively involved in the matters outside the court.

The 42-year-old power forward recently posted a strong message directed at Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett after the two former Celtics champions said that this Miami team is past its chance of winning. Their comments came just six games into the regular season (the Heat were 2-4 at the time).

Haslem reminded Pierce and Garnett how the Heat back in the 2010s ended Boston’s dynasty by reaching the Finals for four straight years. The veteran defended his reaction by saying that the criticism coming from the two former Celtics is unfair.

Of Pierce and Garnett doubting the Heat, Haslem said, “I can dig it, because I don’t like them, either.” He went on to say why. “It’s just how I feel. That’s just how I feel. I just feel like every time I turn around those guys got something to say about us,” the 20-year Heat forward said.
