Nic Claxton on Nets: “Everybody in the organization, we’ve just been pissed off”

The Nets started the 2022-2023 NBA season not in the way that was expected of them. After seven games Brooklyn has just two wins and has just recently ended a four-game losing streak.

Nic Claxton says that everyone in the organization has been pissed off with the way the team has been playing. He is unsure if the players-only meeting helped the Nets rally and win for the first time in five games.

Via SportsNet New York:

“Honestly, talk is cheap. Everybody in the organization, we’ve just been pissed off,” Claxton said. “We want to be better. So I don’t know (if the meeting had an impact). But everybody being on the same page today, that’s what matters.”

Individually this is the best season so far for Claxton who is averaging 12.1 points, 8.6 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 19.3 minutes per game as a starter.
