Malcolm Brogdon talks about fixing Celtics’ defense

The Boston Celtics combo guard Malcolm Brogdon talked about fixing the team’s defense after finishing 24th in the league on that end through four games.

Boston led the league in defense last year and has needed to adjust to a new coach, system, and players like himself and Blake Griffin, along with smaller lineups that force everyone to rebound. The Celtics allowed 120 points back-to-back to Orlando and Chicago.

On defending Cavs’ Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland, Brogdon said “It’s an All-Star backcourt, so defensively we’re gonna have to be right, but I think that’s in our favor … we’re the team to be able to guard them.”
