For the last few season Bradley Beal is one of the top scorers in the NBA. In 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 the 29-year-old shooting guard averaged more 30 points per game.

Last night against the Bulls he scored less than usual – 19 points – but it was him who scored the game-winner. Afterwards Beal attributed scoring less points to having teammates who can score as well.

Via Chase Hughes of NBC Sports:

“I know I can score with the best of them. I can score when I need to… Don’t get it twisted. I’ll still go for 30, 40, 50 if I need to,” Beal said. “[But] I’m not required to do that. I don’t have to do that.”
