Facundo Campazzo had become a free agent this summer after two years with the Nuggets. He had offers from EuroLeague teams, but preferred to return to the NBA and waited for an offer.

The wait turned to out to be fruitful as the Mavericks signed the Argentinean just before the start of the season. His new teammate Maxi Kleber talked about the addition of the former Nuggets guard.

“It will be very interesting to see how he works with us,” Kleber said about Campazzo, via Dwain Price. “He will be good for the team just from the standpoint of the energy, but also his passing skills are really incredible, too. I’m excited to see what he brings to the table for us.”

Last season Campazzo averaged 5.1 pints, 1.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 18.2 minutes per game for the Nuggets.
