Myles Turner unfortunately tweaked his left ankle and sustained a sprain before the Indiana Pacers started their opener against the Washington Wizards.

Per Yahoo! Sports’ Jake Fischer, Turner injured his ankle upon landing on the foot of a ball boy in pregame warmup.

It remains yet to be seen on what will be the extent of his probable absence and damage on his ankle. It’s been a rough one for the big man, considering that he missed the final 38 games of the Pacers last season due to a stress reaction in his foot.

Indiana ultimately fell against the Wizards, 114-107, with Tyrese Haliburton tallying 26 points, seven assists and four boards on the losing effort.
