Tyrese Maxey is one of the best young players in the NBA. During his sophomore year last season he became a starter and a key player for the 76ers.
One executive believes he has the potential to be better than his superstar teammate. An anonymous general manager told Michael Scotto of HoopsHype that the 21-year-old point guard is going to be better than James Harden.
Maxey averaged 17.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 35.3 minutes per game last season for Philadelphia. For comparison, Harden needed three seasons and a trade to the Rockets to cross the threshold of 17 points per game.
