The Raptors will not give a contract extension to Pascal Siakam, according to Josh Lewenberg. The 28-year-old forward has two years left on his current deal.

This season he is set to earn $35.4 million, while next year his salary is set to increase to $37.9 million. Last year was his sixth season with the Raptors, a team that drafted him late in the first round back in 2016.

As noted by Lewenberg, the player will be eligible for a super max extension if he makes All-NBA this season. Siakam was voted to the All-NBA Third Team last year.

Last season Siakam averaged 22.8 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 37.9 minutes per game for Toronto.
