It has been a rough preseason for the Trail Blazers as they lost all four games against NBA teams. The only win was against Israeli side Maccabi Ra’anana.
Despite preseason struggles, Portland’s guard Josh Hart sees no reason to panic. He also rejects the idea that his team could tank in order to get Victor Wembanyama, whose last name he forgot.
“We’re 0-0. I don’t think we’re panicking. We’re not trying to get Victor … whatever his name is,” Hart said, per Sean Highkin. It has been reported before that a ‘race to the bottom’ is expected to take place in the league this year as teams will try to position themselves best to have the opportunity to draft the French prodigy.
