The Los Angeles Clippers star posted a tweet on Thursday displaying his support and defense for Westbrook amid the ongoing buzz with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The former league MVP has been drawing more controversies with the Los Angeles Lakers. Notably during the Lakers’ preseason match against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday, Westbrook ignored a huddle that was called by teammate Patrick Beverley.
Both George and Westbrook developed strong friendship on their two-season run with the Oklahoma City Thunder last decade.
