The Los Angeles Lakers star guard Russell Westbrook said his separation from the pregame huddle was part of his typical routine and that he was talking to the coaches when Pat Bev convened a huddle later on, via Michael Corvo.
“It’s really weird man. Pregame, I’ve been doing that since I’ve been in the league for years man … As far as the other video, I was talking to the coaches about a missed coverage.”
