When Victor Wembanyama enters the NBA next year, he won’t be just a kid from Europe that hardly anyone in the league knows. The 18-year-old French prodigy received highest praises from the league’s superstars this week.

LeBron James described him as being ‘more like an alien,’ Kevin Durant said he became a fan of Wembanyama, Steph Curry also complimented the young starlet. Two-time league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo joined the praise as well.

“He’s incredible,” Antetokounmpo said. “I believe in 2045 everybody is going to look like Victor. The way his skill, the way he can shoot the ball, the way he can move. He’s extremely fast for his size, can block shots, can be a threat on the defensive end. He’s unbelievable.

“I believe it’s only a matter of time for him to be in the league. For him the key is just to keep getting better, keep staying humble and stay humble. Body like that with the skillset like that as long as he’s staying healthy, he’s going to keep improving, keep enjoying the game as much as he can.

“He has the chance to be one of the best not in his age, not Europe, but one of the best to play this game. We have never seen someone like that before.”
