Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray sustained a left thigh soreness during the team’s preseason game against the Chicago Bulls on Friday.

He took an exit to enter the locker room and announced not returning to play heading to the second half of the match.

Murray finished with two points and five assists in 13 minutes of play. As such, it is likely that the Nuggets will keep him out of their remaining preseason games for precautionary purposes.

Murray notably missed more than 500 days of competitive basketball prior to this upcoming season due to an ACL surgery recovery.
