Lakers superstar LeBron James repeated his intention to be a part-owner of an NBA team in Las Vegas when it is created. The four-time NBA champion who will 38 in December will have to wait for his dream to come true.
It may happen after he retires. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, it is likely that the league could expand to Las Vegas and Seattle in a few years. The two main reasons for that are the terms of the current TV/media deal and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
The former runs through the 2024-2025 season while the latter expires in 2023. Both of these deals are expected to be negotiated before making an expansion.
