Yesterday a highly anticipated exhibition game between Metropolitans 92 and the G League Ignite featuring Victor Wembanyama and Scoot Henderson took place in Las Vegas.
The two players are projected to be the top two NBA draft picks in 2023 with the Frenchman having a slight edge over the American.
Wembanyama finished the game with 37 points and 4 rebounds, while Henderson dropped 28 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished out 9 assists.
When speaking with Shams Charania, Henderson said he feels like the number one player in 2023. “Of course I feel like I’m the No. 1 player,” he said. “I work hard and my competitive side makes me want to be the number 1 player, makes want to be who I am on and off the court. I feel like I have the number 1 mentality.”
